My Heart and my Mind: Euro 2016 Predictions
It’s here! It’s here! Euro 2016 starts today.
Here are my predictions — from my heart and my mind — on how the next four weeks will play out.
MY MIND
Champs: Belgium
Final Four: Belgium, Spain, France, Germany
Biggest Flop: Italy (I will likely be wrong on this, but I just don’t see where the magic comes from on this team)
Biggest Surprise: Iceland (because why not?)
MY HEART
Champs: Portugal (Ronaldo finally delivers that international silverware for his country)
Final Four: Portugal, Italy (Would love to see an Italy/Portugal semi) Germany, Spain (love the style of these two teams and want to see them fight it out til the end)
Biggest Flop: France (Will be first home team not to make it into the semis)
Biggest Surprise: Austria (who will likely make a deep run into the Quarter-Finals… knocking out some giants along the way)
